Publication of a block of limestone found in four pieces during the 2015 excavation season, including a discussion of the hieroglyphic inscription, which mentions the mother of Ramses II. In this inscription, the king’s mother is called Muty, a name attested on other blocks coming from the temple.

Her title of ‘mother of the king’ is well preserved, but before her name appears the title hkrt-nsw, preceded by a lacuna.

This title was probably part of a composed title [Hnwt] hkr(w)t-nsw, which is attested for a queen of the 11th Dynasty. It may refer to a responsibility of Tuya towards the ladies of the king’s court.
