Il processo redazionale della corrispondenza egizio-ittita

With more than 100 letters, the Hittite-Egyptian correspondence provided scholars with a gold mine of information on various aspects of the Late Bronze Age diplomacy. This article analyzes the redactional phases that led to the composition of this corpus, in Anatolia and Egypt, respectively. Special attention is paid to those letters written in Ḫatti, which include drafts in Hittite and Akkadian languages, as well as copies of letters to Egypt and copies and translations of Egyptian messages.
